What Do Elevated Lipase And Amylase Levels Indicate?

Hi doctor, My MRCP and Cat Scan results are normal. But my lipase and amylse levels are very high in the blood test. Does it indicate acute or chronic pencreatitis. No other symptoms like abdominal pain, fever, loss of appetitie, bowl movement, nausia, juandice vomiting etc. Nothing.

Hello

As you explain the situation it is a problem that they are elevated.Probably an abdominal MRI is needed because it is more specific for the pancreas. Please discuss with your doctor

Regards
