What Do Dry Lump Behind The Ears Of A Child Indicate?

mY 1 1/2 YR OLD GRANDSON HAS THE RED CRUSTY WET AND DRY LOOKING MESS BEHIND HIS LEFT EAR. wHAT IS IT AND HOW CAN WE TREAT IT. WE HAVE USED OINTMENTS LIKE HYDROCORTISONE AND NEOSPORIN. LOOKS LIKE IT WILL GO AWAY BUT DOESN T FULLY AND THEN GETS BAD AGAIN

It is possible that the lesion behind your grand son's left year lobe is a fungal infection. Please do not use hydrocortisone oint. Neosporin may also not help. You have to consult a Dermatologist, who would send the samples from the lesion for fungal testing and prescribe medication.
