What Do Delayed Periods With Negative Result In HPT Indicate?

Hi,
Had sex last month before my periods and took i-pill within 48 hrs...now this month I.e Dec I didn't had my periods. My actual date was 7th Dec and till now I didn't get my periods.. I had pregnancy test but it is negative.. What should I do now .. Can anyone help !!!

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Delayed period or missed period after intake of ipill is a common problem. It is known side effect due to high dose of hormone levogesterol contained in the pill. So your period could be delayed for 1 or more cycle
One should use ipill only in case of emergency. Use condoms or regular contraceptive pills to prevent pregnancy in future. Taking more emergency contraceptive pills can cause serious problems like irregular periods, ectopic pregnancy, ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome & even infertility.

If your period doesn't occur even delayed by 2 weeks, Consult a gynaecologist
