What Do Delayed Periods, Cramps And Nausea With Negative HPT Suggest?
My period was supposed to come around the 15th of March never came but ive been cramping since before it was due & started bleeding lightly today & cramps still here on March 28th , I have mild lower back pains , growling sounds in stomach & on side very gassy. I ve been nauseous & very tired lately . No tenderness in breast . Took a HPT 2 days ago came back negative .. But is it possible . I was nervous while taking the test & I thought I might have did something wrong . HELP !!
Pregnancy is not necessarily the only possibility in such cases, and moreover you had a bleed today. A hormonal imbalance is almost sure, either due to pregnancy or other causes like medications, birth control pills, infections anywhere in the body, chronic conditions, stress, etc.
If your menstrual irregularities continue, even the next cycle then you should report to a doctor. But I also hope you can repeat the pregnancy test (using a home pregnancy test) in a few days time, this time with an early morning urine sample.
Best wishes.
