What Do Croaking Sounds And Leakage In The Peg Tube Post Pyloroplasty Indicate?
23 yr old autistic nonverbal female ; barretts esophagus, delayed gastric emptying had a nissen fundoplication/pyloroplasty sugery and hernia repair 5 months ago that within a day turned into aspiration pneumonia and on to peg tube that was used for drainage , septis, picc line and NPO for the 90 days she remained hospitalized ....she has been making this croaking sound in her throat and her peg tube has been leaking and she holds her left arm protective over the area around her liver . could her wrap come undone? hernia again? esophageal spasms? she is miserable and cant tell me with words

You need to get her to the ER and get her assessed by a physician as it is quite difficult to give any advice without examining the patient.
