Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Constant Nausea And Loss Of Appetite Post Removal Of Ovarian Cancer?
Ovarian cancer removed in Jan. CT scans show no reoccurrence. Since Jan constant nausea and no appetite. Endoscopy shows no problem. Loss of weight required a PEG tube. Weight came back up, but primary calories coming from PEG tube. Chemo therapy was stopped 8 weeks ago, but stomach symptoms still exist. Also have a general sense of overall sickness. What are possibilities?
As per my clinical experience, constant nausea and loss of appetite can be in relation with residual effects of chemotherapy, gastritis with or without ulcer, undiagnosed secondary spread, stress or anxiety related and comorbid depression
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
