Hello and welcome to HCM,
Ovulation is often accompanied by lower abdominal pain and spotting.
This lower abdominal pain and spotting is not of much relevance and does not signify anything serious.
However, you have mentioned that spotting and pain appeared 5 days after ovulation.
The spotting and lower abdominal pain usually occur along with ovulation, and not after ovulation.
I suggest you to observe for the symptoms for some more months and if the symptoms persist you need to consult your gynecologist.
In case the symptoms disappear or coincide with ovulation, there is nothing to worry.

Thanks and take care
