What Do Blisters And Swelling In The Hands Indicate?

I am on a few meds and was going through them online to see if I can find a side effer=ct I am experiencing (possibly) from one of them. My problem is I have blisters appearing on hands that swell up and pop, after which a small scab forms. These exist for months or weeks. They itch badly at different times. They hurt to touch. Reaching into pocket is quite difficult.

Hello,

I think you are suffering from a bullous drug eruption. Penicillin or clotrimazole or NSAIDS may cause drug eruptions. But anybody can develop an allergy to any drug. Quit taking the drug and consult your dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
