What Do Bleeding After Urination And Lower Backache Indicate?

I’ve been experiencing a small amount of blood when I wipe myself after urination. Not exactly sure if it’s coming from vaginal area. I’m 67, had a hysterectomy(ovaries remain) in 1991. I’m also having lowering back and lowering abdominal aches. Any ideas?

Hello,

You should take more seriously your symptoms of bleeding when you wipe yourself after urination taking into account your personal history of hysterectomy (only ovaries remained) at your age 67. I think you should consult immediately with a gynecologist and run a few diagnostic tests in order to determine the right diagnosis:
- Vaginal swab testing
- Pap smear testing
- Abdominal/gynecological ultrasound
- Urine analysis
We should exclude genital issues like tumor relapse first, then evaluate the status of urinary pathways.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini
