Hi,

It's not only changes in food contents but eating habit is also much important. Along with increase in daily activity, walking and exercise change the food habits - Take complex carbohydrates (Whole grains like brown rice, oat meal) instead of simple starch.

Increase quantity of green leafy vegetables in diet. Fresh vegetables or lightly steamed or cooked are best to take. Instead of cutting down carbohydrate take complex carbohydrate diet as mentioned above. Besides it is also important not to skip meals.

Instead time-to-time eating in small quantity is utmost important to maintain blood sugar level.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
