What Could The Large Purple Bump Which Oozes Out Blood With Pus On The Bikini Line Be?

Hello, I have a large dark red/purple color bump on my bikini line. It has gotten bigger over the past couple days. I tried squeezing it today and a lot of blood came out, along with a little puss. After squeezing it, the bump seemed to have gotten bigger. I am not sure what to do, and the blood keeps coming out. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi,
I suggest keeping it clean and dry. Apply regular dressings. This may be an infected sebaceous cyst but it would be impossible to be sure without examination. Therefore, I suggest you see your doctor to confirm. You may need antibiotics.
