What Could Soreness In Toes With Numbness Suggest?

This morning I dropped a power drill on my foot, battery pack down. It landed on flat part right between my arch and toes. It hurts and is sore but i can walk on it. The only thing that has me wondering about it is my toes are tingly and numb. Is that a sign I should get an x-ray?

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for seeking help on your issue; I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion, getting X ray is better but till then keep the limb elevated take paracetamol 500 mg twice daily and apply a crepe bandage over the foot.
I hope I have been able to provide you with a satisfactory solution, if you want to clear any doubts about my opinion, feel free to contact.
Special note- Any medication prescribed needs to be taken after consultation with your personal doctor only.
Thanks
