What Could Small Lump At The Crease Of Leg With A Tiny Bruise On Top Of It Indicate?
Hi doctor , I have a small pea sized lump at the crease at the top of my right leg and threre is like a tiny bruise on the top of it at my pubic area bit next to my leg and i wanted to know what it is I only noticed it the other day and it s worrying me
hello, i can understand your concern. based on the symptom and the location of the lump it appears to be as a swollen lymph node. with what you have mentioned i assume it be painful. painful lymph nodes are usually enlarged in response to any infection in our body. but this would require a proper physical examination to be sure about. it is usually treated with a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs. an fnac(fine needle aspiration cytology)would be advised if this doesnt subside. hope i have answered your queries. feel free to ask further queries. thanks for choosing HCM
