What Could Sharp Painful Spot In Abdomen Under The Breastbone Indicate?
When I palpate my abdomen, about 4 inches to the right of my navel, I experience a sharp pain that feels like a hot poker. This began about 6 months ago with this painful feeling in just one spot. This now extends right up to under my breastbone and continues down the left side. I am thinking this might be related to the pancreas. My maternal grandmother died at the age of 60 from pancreatic cancer and I am now a 58 year old female.

Pain as described has so many causes you hve not mentioned some other symptoms it is better you get investigated have ultra sound of whole abdomen done some bllod testshb tlc dlc lft lipase serum amylase urine routine stood examination for worms
