What Could Recurring Itchy Rashes On Neck And Face Indicate?

I have an itchy rash patch on one side of my neck and two spots on my chin on either side, 1 spot on eyebrow and one below other eye. No rash anywhere else on body. This was really bad in same areas afew weeks ago - then disappeared. It then reappeared on neck only and tonight it is back again. What can I put on it to relieve itchiness or what can it be.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The itchy rashes that are on-and-off might be due to possible allergy reaction to any cosmetic product or detergent you use.

I advise to put anti-hystaminic cream locally. Avoid applying any cosmetics or use flagrance free detergents.

If still no improvement, a further evaluation by dermatologist is needed to exclude other possible pathologies (e.g. fungal infection).

Hope it was of help!
