What Could Persistent Pain In Rib Area Radiating To Back And Armpit Indicate?

I began having an on and off pain in rib area just under l breast a couple days ago. Monday night, it became more constant and, in addition to it, I started having the same type pain in rib area on lower left back side. I now can t sleep because the pain is worse and seems to be both front and back moving moving toward upper back and armpit...all on left side. I have had shingles ongoing for a year now. Could this possibly be internal shingles, though I have no rash n those areas right now? Also, being on the left side concerns me.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, two condition could be possible one is muscular spasm and second could be due to hyperacidity and in my opinion these both can be treated altogether and best medicine for this are "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30mg" once in day and "Tab Chlorzoxazone with Acetaminophen" once in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
