Description of hard lump under side of penis suggest it is more likely due to peyronie’s disease; caused most likely due to friction and trauma(bending). It is a condition in which a plaque, or hard lump, forms on the penis. Often begins as a localized area of irritation and swelling, and can develop into hardened scar. The scar may reduce the elasticity of the affected area. Mild form of disease heals without treatment in 6 to 18 months. In severe cases, with scars affecting a large area surgical methods are preferred. Right now you can take daily vitamin E supplement (available over the counter). Wear lose clothing, avoid intercourse till it heals completely as it may cause more trauma and further increase the severity of disease, take a warm shower everyday and keep the area clean.
