What Could Painful, Circular Bump Between Leg And Vagina Turning Purplish After Squeezing Indicate?

I have a circular bump on my panty line between my leg and vagina. It is painful and at first I thought it was a pimple so I squeezed it and nothing came out but it turned purple-ish in color. It feels hard when I press down on it. There is no hole, and no hair coming from it.

Hello,

It could be a skin infection. I suggest you to take an oral antibiotic e.g either Amoxicillin or Cephalexin for a week. Topically you may use either Mupirocin ointment or Neosporin ointment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kakkar S., Dermatologist
