What Could Nausea, Mucus Stools With Low Appetite Suggest?

I have been having nausea, gas pains that travel to my back and between the shoulder blades and light colored pencil like stools with mucus like jelly stuff with an odor for the last three days or so, feeling very bloated and put on like 8 pounds in the last thirty days or so. Feeling very tired having trouble waking up in the morning and no real appetite.

Hello,

Since when you are suffering from this problem? Many causes for this problem like bacillary or amoebic dysentery or irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems or malabsorption syndrome or food intolerance etcetera.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Eat a soft diet, if symptoms not improved, use a tablet of lox Ornidazole twice a day for five days. Still not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
