What Could Lumbosacral Instability In X-ray Report Suggest?

good day doc, pls help me to understand my x-ray report, The visualized vertebral bodies, pedicles and intervertebral disc space are intact. The normal lumbar lordosis is maintained. The line of weight bearing falls on the sacral promontary. Lippman-Cobb s angle is measured 55 degrees. The remarks is: Lumbosacral instability.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

Lumbosacral instability of spine suggests that the spine is liable to dislocate in either direction - anterior or posterior if there is any kind of imbalance.
There is chance of dislocation or disc prolapse if there is any kind of pressure on the spine.
