What Could High Thyroid Levels With Metallic Taste In Mouth Suggest?

I take synthroid for my thyroid with multiple nodules and have been taking same dose for along time. The last few days I have had a metal taste in my mouth and now today my legs hurt. I run but haven t run in 2 days. Does this mean my level is off?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have multiple nodules with hypothyroidism and you are taking synthroid for that. Metalic taste in mouth and leg hurt does not mean your level is off.

You should check your T3, T4 and TSH level. If all are in normal range then you can continue with same medicine. If they are altered then you need to change the dosage of eltroxin accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
