What Could High Bp With Enlarged Heart Suggest?

Goodevening; I went to my doctor on this morning an along with my bloodpressure bein 142/104 She did a ekg an it shows I have an enlarge heart especially on the left side more than the right so I am given my prescripton for my high blood pressure an for allergys ok tell me what does this look like for me at the age of 57 female African American I go back in 2wks for a bpcheck

In high BP left side of heart enlarge due to excessive pressure, this is known as concentric hypertrophy. The next test to be done is echocardiography. Echo report will guide your doctor for treatment.
You must bring diastolic BP (lower one in your case 104) below 90 with drug and salt restriction. Increase your physical activity.
