What Could Early, Very Heavy Periods While Having Tied Tubes Indicate?
I had my regular period on feb 6th thru the 9th. Than I started again the same month and it was on the 16th and it is very heavy. I had my tubes tied so I would hope im not prego. So what could be the problem. I have know insurance and cant afford to go to the doctor. so please help if possible.
Hi and thank you so much for this query. I am so sorry to hear of this abnormal menses that you have reported.
Tied tubes do not necessarily mean you cannot get pregnant again. the chances are greatly educed but the possibility of getting pregnant is still very real. However, this would most likely not be related to a pregnancy because of how early this bleeding showed up after your normal menses. I will suggest that you treat this just like menses and see what happens. If the blood flow remains to be much or the duration more than that of your normal menses, please seek medical consultation with your OBGYN for investigation and management. I understand finances are hard but life has no price tag.
I hope this helps you. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more related information or clarification if need be. Thanks for using our services. Dr. Ditah, MD.
