What Could Discolored Veins In Breasts, Shoulders And Chest Indicate?

I just noticed in the mirror that I have very dark blue veins running through my breast and across my chest from both shoulders. I ve had tenderness in both breast for the past few days and I am now feeling an aching pain in my right shoulder. I am not pregnant. My tubes were tied over 8 years ago and to be sure I even took a pregnancy test which had a negative result. Can you tell me what this could possibly be?

Hi,

Dermatological conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. They could be normal, or normal aging. But they could be a circulatory blockage in the abdomen such as from a tumor or organ failure. I cannot say in your particular case, but generally, a new pain or symptom might be a reason for examination, even an imaging study.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
