What Could Cause Metallic Taste In Mouth?

With in the last month, I am finding that I can not touch metal or wear jewelry without a metallic taste in my mouth and a smell on my hands. This is bad for someone who works with various metal instruments. It does go away eventually, if I do not touch any other metal. Help?

Well looking into your query I will like to tell you that metallic taste in mouth can be due to a variety of raesons , it will not be possible to give you one cause the can cause this . Metallic taste in mouth can be a form of Dysgeusia . Lots of medicines may cause this specially antibiotics like metronidazole , clarithromycin etc .may lead to this kind of symptoms . Hormonal changes also can give rise to such symptoms . Vitamin and mineral deficiency is also one of the reasons for metallic taste in the mouth especially zinc.
