What Could Cause Menstrual Irregularity?

Hi. Im going to be 45 in 2 months. About 8 months ago I had a normal period. Then 2 weeks later another period. Always the first 2 days the blood flow is very heavy. then a couple months after that I skipped my period for 2 months. Now this month I had a period 2 weeks ago and now I have another one. What is going on?

The irregular period that you are having can be due to the hormonal changes caused by perimenopause. Such irregular bleeding when nearing menopause is common. You can consult your gynecologist for a few investigations to confirm this.
