i had an iufd late july 2012 and was induced and delivered on 6th august 2012. my husband and i resumed sexual activites two weeks later after the 2 weeks visit.
i spotted two weeks ago and again today after sex. i will like to know if it is my period coming back?

The spotting you are experiencing could be due to: - Inter-menstrual or premenstrual spotting due to reproductive hormonal imbalance. - Local lesions like cervical erosion, polyp, etc. - Rarely retained products of conception can present as spotting.
If spotting converts into the regular menstrual flow you may not need any specific treatment. If the spotting persists or recurs, better to get examined. By clinical examination and ultrasound the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
