What Could Cause Lack Of Sensation From Toes To Knees?

About 6 months ago i noticed that when i touched my toes on the left foot it was somewhat numb. Now the lack of sensation goes all the up to both knees. I can still feel when I touch them but it is not normal. Kind of like when you get a tooth pulled and it starts to come back to full feeling. Should i be concerned?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of a pinched nerve. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for physical exam and performing nerve conduction studies.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
