Assalamo alaikum.
thank you for posting query at HCM.
Jaundice has many causes including liver disease,
gall bladder pathology,
hemolytic anemia and "drugs/medications".
you did not mention as to why you were prescribed these medications(
decdan and practine), and therefore we recommend that you STOP these medication and follow up with your personal physician to determine if you still need to be on these medication.
DecDan is a synthetic
Steroid and you may need to taper it down gradually, not atonce. so visit treating physician doctor/liver specialist asap.
secondly, HepA is a common cause of
acute hepatitis (jaundice) and it is a self limited disease. its better for you to also rule out hepB (if your not vaccinated) and HepC. following test recommended:
1. CBC 2. HBsAg 3. anti HCV
meanwhile:
- eat green vegetable
- eat fruits or drink fresh fruit juice
- eat liver (mutton)
- drink fresh milk
- eat egg
albumin (boiled white part) to increase muscle mass and boiled beans (daal)
- eat fish
the lab results of aforementioned blood tests maybe posted here or viist treating physician.
wish you good health.
