What Could Cause Gray Streak On Finger?

I noticed a gray streak on my right tumb and left index finger about 8 weeks ago. I m concerned by some of the things I m reading online about cancer and Melanonychia. I had a baby 9 weeks ago, have carpal tunnel, take lamictal and welbutrin. I was taking vicotin and 800 ibprophin after my c-section. I had other very noticeable pigment changes during my pregnancy - my stomach and my armpits. I have made a doctor s appointment. I would like to know if there are other things I should I should look for to tell my doctor or if there are things I should ask about when I go.

Hi,

There is no need to worry. The gray patch may be ecchymosis. There may be ruptured capillaries which may lead to spreading of blood underneath the skin. The cause would be trauma . That may be responsible for the colour. The gray stream may go away by few days to weeks. However, consult the dermatologist..ok
