What Could Cause Delay In Periods?

Hello doctor I am not pregnant and I've had rectal ultrasound there are no abnormalities. I haven't had my period for 3-4 months now. The doctor prescribed taking duphaston. It's my fifth day now and still no period getting really worried. What to do?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern if you are not pregnant does not have any uterine pathology so because of that you did not have your menses then you need to be worried if these are not the reasons then why to worry about the menses, irregular menses is very common phenomenon that happens due to hormonal imbalance, emotional stress, low hemoglobin, etc, hope this information helps you have nice day.
