What Could Cause Consistent Fluttering In Right Foot?

I have consistent fluttering in my right foot. It s on the right side between ankle and baby toe. and it feels like blood rushing but it s not where a major vein is. But it has me concerned because it s been doing it every 5-10 seconds for the last week or more.

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a pinched nerve or a twisted muscle. For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam. Nerve conduction studies would help investigate for a possible pinched nerve. I would also recommend checking blood electrolytes and uric acid plasma levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
