What Could Bruised Eyelid Suggest?

I woke up yesterday and woke up with a bruised eyelid in the corner of my left eye. Within a short time later, a couple of hours, I noticed the bruise had spread to about half of my top eyelid. This morning I have noticed the corner of my right yey is beginning to bruise. My husband wants me to go to the doctors. What do you think,

Hi, bruise with trivial or no injury may be because of blood clotting problems, vitamin c deficiency or certain medications. I would suggest you to go to your physician to for further evaluation. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
