What Could Bite Marks On Body Turning Into Bumps And Bruises Indicate?

My son and I keep waking up with bites. They swell and appear like mosquito bites. My sons turn to bumps and mine turn to bruising. We have pest control, our yard is cut short. I have no idea what is getting us in our home while we sleep. I have a dog but we havent seen a single flea. I have checked our mattresses and havent seen anything either. What could it be?

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . Swelling and bruising occur due to human bite also when bite forcefully .

What you can do is clean affected area with running water and soap , give cold compresses to reduce swelling and apply antiseptic cream . You can also take ibuprofen(if not allergic ) or acetaminophen for pain and swelling.

If there will be fever itching or swelling then immediately consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics or antihistamine drug.
