What Could Be The Weird Sound Coming From My Heart?
Hello. My name is Cato I am 17 years old. And I have some weird sound in my chest, from my heartbeat. it sounds like a flip-flop beat. I sometimes get these sounds in my chest. But the beat is the same. It is the sound. It also has a kind of irritating beat, like it doesn t hurt but it irritates. I do not usually get these. I get them like once 2 months or less or more. But I do not like the sound of it at all. Makes me kind of scared.
hello cato, I have gone through your query. Thanks for sing HCM. your complaints of weird sound may be due to extrasystoles mostly benign at your age,it may be simple palpitations due to anxiety.I suggest you to try mouth dissolving clonazepam 0.5mg during the spell of weird sound.Mostly you will be relieved. In case it persists then you should get and ECG and Echocardiogram done to rule our valvular conditions like Mitral valve prolapse, My best wishes Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
