What Could Be The Treatment For Injured Ankle?

I first injured my ankle in a mud run august 2012. I gave it 2 weeks rest then started a police academy. Since then my ankle constantly rolls outward. I have pain onthe outside of my ankle when flexing my foot forward or inward. Its difficult to do certain exercises; I cant sit indian style or foot a foot in a boot without pain flexion. Sometimes when Im walking or doing plyometrics my ankle feels like it just gives out and I will usually fall. I notice when doing plyometrics or cardio that my thrird and fourth toe go numb, but that could be related to stenosis in my c6/7. I can run a steady pace with minimal issues.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I would recommend you to get MRI of ankle. This will give us information whether your ankle ligament is torn. It looks to me from your history that you might have anterior tallofivbular ligamnet injury. Till you get yu MRI done, wear ankle brace and avoid sporting activity or fast running on uneven surface.
