What Could Be The State Of Mind Of A Child Who Is Often Surrounded With Disabled Children ?

Hi, I d just like to know, if a child as young as four years old is very often around many disabled and severely disabled children, what long term issues might this cause them psychologically? What effects will very strong empathy have on a young child later in life? Might they have a desire to actually experience a disability when they grow older?
