Hi Doctor, I had my 20 weeks scan today. As per the report, placenta is anterior wall towards left, lower end 4.5 cm away from internal os. grade 1 maturity. Foetal biometry : BPD 5.4 cm HC 20 cm AC 16.9 cm FL 3.5 cm FHR 150bpm Could you please tell me whether this is normal?
Hi Your report of scan at 20 weeks is normal. Head circumference is larger than abdominal at this stage, Foetal heart rate is also ok. Placenta is rightly mature what it should be at this time may be earlier reports were showing low lying placenta but it is away from utetrine mouth now. So, nothing to worry. All these parameters are mentioned to see the gestation age, position of placenta and foetal well being. Thanks.
