What Could Be The Reason For Having Light Bleeding And Pain After A Surgery?

Hi i just had a one day surgery 10/26/13 for fibroid since comming home i have had pain and discomfort after about day 4 lots of pain light bleeding looks brown and discharge smells and gas,my GYN gave me Nitrofurantoin Macro 100MG 2 times a day i started the medication on 10/8/2013

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Light bleeding and discharge after such a surgery is normal for a few days and it slowly subsides. Although there are chances of an infection which is why antibiotics need to be started on the day of the surgery and continued for while even after.

If the bleeding and/or discharge last for more than 14 days, report this to your doctor.
