What Could Be The Reason For Having Frequent Urination?

I am 44 and as far as I know, I am in pretty good health with the exception of having to urinate about 20 times a day and it continues throughout the night where I get up three to five times. This has been going on since I had the gout back in October. I had to take medication for it for a month, and that is when I noticed the problem started. The doctor told me I should get over it by December. It still continues. (I no longer have the gout) What might you think the problem is?

You have problem of frequent urination that may be because of diabetes problem.


If you have frequent urination problem with pain or discomfort during urination that may be because of urinary tract infection. Urine test is helpful for diagnose.

Prostate enlargement may cause frequent urination problem.
Check your PSA level.

Bladder or kidney infection may cause this type of symptoms.
Interstitial cystitis may ruled out.
Proper history give exact idea about disease.

Consent a nephrologist for further diagnosis.
