What Could Be The Reason For Having A White Powdery Growth On The Tips Of My Thumb?

I have a white powdery growth approximately the size of a pencil eraser on the tips of my thumbs. It isn t present all of the time, and I can t pin down the cause as it appears randomly. It isn t attached to the skin as it easily wipes off. Any ideas.

Hello,

White powdery growth probably indiacte fungal infection of nails. You may need oral antifungal for long term for total cure. Also, check your blood sugar. Avoid tight shoe and keep legs dry as much as possible.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
