What Could Be The Reason For Hands Being Cold All The Time?
my granddaughters hands are always cold and she is also cold all the time. she is 18 yrs old and when she was a baby she would turn blue when she was laying down, also sometime her legs also when she was being carried.she is slow but trys to be normal what or who should we do
I can understand your concern for hands being cold all the time in your grand daughter. Cold hands can be most commonly due to low hemoglobin level or can be due to any long term illness or due to nutritional deficiency or hormonal influence.
I can make out that she is 18 years so it can be basically due to low hemoglobin and nutritional influence.
If I were your dermatologist then would have gone for all the routine blood tests to rule out any internal problem or low Hemoglobin. I would have prescribed her tablet containing Iron with Selenium, Zinc, Biotin, Copper as active ingredients.
Let her improve diet at its best by regular fruit intake and green leafy vegetables. Take care.
