What Could Be The Life Span Of Person With Severe Cp, Micro Cep Half And Spastic Quadriplegic?

Hi. I'm a mother of a very special young man. He's had a very challenging life with surgeries but is loved greatly by many. He has severe cp, micro cep half and spastic quadriplegic. He is fed by g-tube. He is non verbal and does not use any devices for manipulation of communication. I've noticed a change in home the past weeks. His dr. Said his heart and lungs sounded good last week bit I keep getting this feeling that something bigger is wrong. Maybe I'm terrified of the worst. My question is.. With his diagnosis, what is a typical life span of a person with these issues?

Thank you for posting your query.

I appreciate the good care you are providing for your son with special abilities. If they are looked after well, they have a fairly normal life span.

This includes good physiotherapy, good feeding, taking care to prevent nay bed sores or other infections.

Sometimes, they can get seizures, which also need to be controlled with medications.
