What Could Be The Large Knot Outside The Thigh Which Is Not Sensitive?
I am a run from a CTV floor, been on ssd for a few years now. My question is I have a large knot the size of my hand on the outside of my thigh almost directly above my left knee, it is not sensitive to touch but to pressure and is not red or hot. What could this be? I noticed it 3-4 months ago
More information- apart from physical examination of the know- is required to reach to a definite conclusion.
It can be a cyst (collection of fluid from the knee joint due to a rupture of the joint capsule) or a Lipoma (localized collection of fatty tissue)- which is a harmless condition.
Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, order required tests, and- based on the reports- will prescribe suitable treatment as advised.
