What Could Be The Heat Beating Sound In Ear?

I can hear my heart pounding in my right ear and then it will go away and come back again. Whatl could cause this? I am 60 years old, on metaprolol
25 mg., for heart pounding to fast. I don't feel that my heart is racing when this happens.
My weight is 148 1bs..

hello, thanks for your query( heart beating) is a tinnitus , at 60 yrs , it could be due to nerve deafness or could be some impacted wax. kindly visit an ent surgeon and audiologist for detailed examination and definitive treatment. all the best. take care.
