What Could A Red Ball With Stitches Falling From Mouth Post Wisdom Tooth Extraction Indicate?

I just had 2 wisdom teeth out on either side of my lower jaw. I'm currently on day 5, and after eating mash p I rinsed with water and a red ball with stitches coming from it fell out .. What is it I'm terrified of dry socket and fear it was my dislodged blood clot

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

The red ball with stitches can be the blood clot that is responsible for healing of the extraction socket..
In the absence of clot the healing will not take place and there will be formation of Dry Socket which is a painful condition..

You should consult your dentist and get evaluated..

In case of Dry Socket irrigation with hydrogen peroxide, betadine and saline followed by placement of Zinc oxide eugenol dressing will help in healing..
If there is pain OTC painkillers like Advil can be taken..
