General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM.

I read your query.
It seems to be infection in tonsils (tonsillitis).
If its not hurting you at the moment then its good.It can be easily controlled now.
And history is not suggestive of tonsil stones. So you should not worry.
I would like to advise you :
- Take hot water in a cup, add 1 table spoon salt in it. Perform gargles (mouth wash) with it three times a day for at least 3 days. It will give soothing effect.
-I would start you on amoxicilin/clavulanic acid 625mg thrice a day for 5 days.
AVOID:
> Chilled water
> Drinks
> Spicy food
Visit your ENT doctor if condition remains same after 3-5days.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health.
