What Causes Yellow Discoloration Of Eyes?

A girl just told me my eyes are yellow. I'm in good shape but I haven't gotten much sleep lately. I don't drink alcohol very often and I know I haven't contracted any form of hepatitis so what's going on? Could my 24 credits and lack of sleep be giving me yellow eyes?

Thank you for posting query at HCM.

yellow color of eyes (sclera) indicates due to high bilirubin levels termed as Jaundice.
Jaundice can be due to hemolytic anemia, hepatitis OR gall bladder pathology.

therefore, your adviced to do certain blood tests and visit hepatologist or gatsroenterologist at earliest:
1. CBC 2. Liver function test 3. HBsAg and anti HCV
4. anti HAV 5. abdominal ultrasound if your obese or overweight

meanwhile:
- abstinence from Alcohol
- LOW fat diet should be followed
- NO red meat
- vegetables should be ingested daily
- REST more, Less activities
- use lemon juice (lemonade) once in a day
