Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain it seems like a Major Apthae which is a bigger form of apthous ulcers or canker sores.
It can occur due to the similar conditions causing canker sores like nutritional deficiency of iron and vitamin B12, trauma to the tip of tongue, acid reflux, diabetes, immunocompromised conditions etc..
You can do warm saline gargles.
Apply a numbing gel containing Choline Salicylate or Lignocaine over the ulcer.
Take multivitamins, avoid spicy food and do cold compresses over it..
Keep well hydrated and take a soft diet to prevent irritation..
If there is any underlying illness get treated for the same for permanent resolution.

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
