What Causes White Patches On Penis Opening?

Hi, My boyfriend has white patches on the top of his penis for about two weeks he s never had it before and now they ve just appeared is this something to worry about? He says that he constantly feels pressure around the top of his penis and he can never get an erection. Please help?

As per your complain white patches on the opening of the penis along with feeling of pressure and difficulty in erection can be most probably due to fungal infection around the head of penis over the skin known as Mucocutaneous thrush leading to the following symptoms..

Consult an Internal Medicine Specialist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of the scrapings from the area and urethral swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case of thrush he can be advised a course of oral antifungal medication like Fluconazole that has to be takes as a single done for consecutive 2 weeks..
Application of topical antifungal ointment can also be helpful..
Keeping the area clean and dry and also wearing cotton and loose fitting clothes can help..
